Brad Collette graduated from Lincoln Memorial University in 2000. He then received his administration license in 2016 and his master's in education in 2019. He grew up in Knoxville and attended Bearden High School. Mr. Collette has 20 years of experience at the high school level.

Mr. Collette started his teaching career at Knoxville Catholic High School in 2001 as the head baseball coach and business teacher. After briefly leaving the teaching profession to pursue a college baseball coaching position in 2003, he returned to Union County High School and subsequently Campbell County High School serving as their head baseball coach and business teacher. He later taught at Clinton High School where he spent 10 years: four as the head baseball coach and the last five as the Athletic Director and assistant principal. Mr. Collette amassed over 200 wins as a head baseball coach at the high school level but gave up coaching to pursue administration. He now serves in the role of assistant principal at Campbell County High School.
